Here you will find guidelines and suggestions to help you prepare and deliver a solid, visually stimulating, and informative presentation. On behalf of AIHA and ACGIH, we thank you for participating in AIHce 2015.
Conference Registration and Hotel Reservations
PDC instructors should register for AIHce and reserve hotel accommodations online or complete the Registration and Hotel Reservation Form.
Instructors should not register for the PDC(s) they are teaching. Those instructors who wish to attend the AIHce on Monday through Thursday are required to pay the applicable registration fee or the one-day fee.
Technical session (weekday oral and poster) presenters, session arrangers, moderators, and monitors are required to register for the conference and pay the applicable full or one-day registration fee. * Invited, nonmembers of AIHA® and ACGIH® who are presenting in a roundtable session and meet the following additional criteria may attend AIHce on the day of their presentation at no charge or pay the applicable registration fee for the full conference.
Criteria for complimentary one-day registration:
MUST BE:
Non-AIHA or Non-ACGIH members and
Individuals working outside of the IH or safety profession in an unrelated field who would not normally attend AIHce (ex: union workers, laborers, medical experts) or
Individuals without a CIH, CSP or other OEHS related credential or designation
*Individuals exempt from paying a registration fee will be notified of their status in their AIHce acceptance letters.
Speaker Ready Room
All technical session personnel (speakers, arrangers, moderators and monitors) are required to check into the Speaker Ready Room at least one hour prior to the start time of their session. Presenters are encouraged to use the Speaker Ready Room, which is equipped with editing stations, audiovisual (AV) technicians and AIHA’s education team.

Monday, June 1: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, June 2: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, June 3: 7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, June 4: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Hardware/Software
AIHce recommends PowerPoint (PPT) for all presentations. Adobe Acrobat (PDF) and HTML files may also be used.
Technical session presenters are required to use the computers provided on-site by AIHce. These are Windows-based PCs equipped with Microsoft PowerPoint (Office 2010) and the latest versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader, Windows Media Player, and Quick Time for Windows. Other presentation programs will not be available.
PowerPoint files created on a Macintosh computer will open successfully on a PC/AIHce-supplied computer. However, it is recommended that presenters test their files in the speaker ready room prior to the day of their session to ensure the proper display of fonts, equations, pictures, and videos.
Technical Session Recordings — AIHce On Demand
Synchronized recordings of technical session presentations and audio will be made available for download after AIHce, provided that presenter’s permissions have been received. Technical session presenters who do not grant permission to record their presentation will be edited out of the recordings. No personal recording is permitted.
