Volunteer groups tackle diverse issues in the profession, provide support and expertise to AIHA® and ACGIH®, advance the science in all specialties of occupational hygiene, develop guidelines, propose standards, and provide education and training.
More than 40 volunteer groups, including boards, committees, working groups, and special interest groups meet at AIHce. Registrants with an interest in a specific committee or specialty area are welcome to attend these meetings. View the schedule here.

Mix, mingle, (sip) and network at the Expo Hall Networking Reception. A perfect opportunity to meet this year’s exhibitors, browse the posters, visit with colleagues and learn about new products and services from AIHA and ACGIH. Plus, a free drink ticket is included with registration!
Mentoring Program Networking Event

Hosted by the Students and Early Career Professionals (SECP) Committee, this event is open to all participating members of AIHA’s Mentoring Program, as well as to students and professionals interested in being a mentor or having a mentor!
International Reception (by invitation)

All international guests, including Canadians, are invited to attend the International Reception. An invitation to fully registered professionals and a guest will be emailed approximately three weeks prior to the conference.
29th Annual AIHF Fun Run

Lace up your running shoes and run 5k or walk 2k. Pre-registration is required and a separate fee applies. Prior to the race, all participants must check-in at the FunRun desk which will be open Sunday, May 31, 12:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. and Monday, June 1, 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
MSA/AIHA Reception

Everyone who is anyone will be at this legendary, must-attend annual event jointly sponsored by MSA and AIHA.

Honor excellence in industrial hygiene at the Mark of Excellence Breakfast on Wednesday, June 3, at 7:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m. This event is a celebration of the extraordinary contributions made by members and the volunteer community of AIHA and ACGIH to the profession and the associations.
Get ready to be inspired to reach new heights! Dr. John Howard, MD, MPH, JD, LLM, will share his views on the accomplishments made in the science of OEHS work, impart the importance of cultivating new talent, and why it is paramount that each of our members continues to strive for excellence and innovation.
This signature event will also feature our entertaining Master of Ceremony, Kim Merritt, networking, AIHA and ACGIH awards, and a delicious breakfast buffet.
